Violet Voss Holygrail palette Swatches + Review
Violet Voss aren't a brand which everyone has heard of but they should. I had never heard of this brand until I saw a post on Instagram. They are now used a lot by lots of beauty guru's and Instagrammer's. But I still believe they could be more widely known like Mac, Urban Decay and Too Faced. These are very hard to get a hold of as these are only sold certain times of the year.
Packaging?
The packaging is plain black with silver shinny writing, this is also in Nars packaging material but it is also in cardboard packaging. (So horrible to clean...) Opening the palette there is a nice big mirror which is amazing I really don't tend to use or travel with palettes that don't have mirrors. There are 20 eyeshadows in square large pans. 8 Matte shades (Thanks A Latte, Transition, Hashtag, Bestie, R U Kitten Me, Brownie Points, Teddy Bear and Wine N Dine.) 5 Satin shades (Awesome Sauce, Chill, How U Doin, Bat my eyes and So Jelly) Finally 7 Shimmer shades (Crystal, Ploof, Toffee, Cool Beans, On Fleek, Glamping and Cranberry Splash.)
First Impression?
All these shades are creamy and super blendable, when first using this palette the shades all worked well together and worked well with different palettes which is a bonus. There are shades for everyone, there are so many various looks you can create with just this one palette such as a nice natural/neutral look or something more bold and bright. All these shades are warm colours which as my favourite I tend to stay away from cool tones as they never seem to suit my pale skin (any good cool eyeshadow palettes which are a must have in your kit?)
Violet Voss have really gone above and beyond with this palette in my opinion. I mean just look at their names for the eyeshadows, each one so cute and funny and just so enticing. There is something about this palette which I don't see in many palettes.

Ok, so this palette was a bitch to purchase. Violet Voss only stock the Holygrail palette certain times of year and usually they sell out pretty fast.

Beautybay rarely stocks this item but they do stock also certain times of year and shipping is free over £15 and no customs whereas with the Violetvoss official website you have to pay an additional $35/£27 for international shipping, plus whatever customs you get.
This works out around £1.95 per shadow which is brilliant!

This palette I believe is a must have in you collection and is brilliant quality. Violet Voss have truly thought of everything in this palette.
Dupes? I have only found on palette dupe which has various similar shades this is the Morphe Brushes 35W palette, so if you can't find or afford this palette the 35W is a great alternative!
